AgroBalance for precise fertilization
AgroBalance is an integrated solution that provides farmers with detailed information at field level where and how much fertilizer to apply to achieve the target yield. The subscription for AgroBalance service ensures best optimization of fertilization cost according the crop needs. By chemical analysis of soil samples, the distribution of nutrients is determined and individual guidelines for leveling nutrient stock are developed.
AgroBalance - stages of the service for precise fertilization:
Soil sampling is performed automatically with specialized equipment. The number of soil samples depends on the fertilization strategy – with variable or flat rate.
The soil samples are analyzed in the accredited laboratory of NIK Agro Service for the following indicators: soil reaction (pH), Nutrients: total mineral nitrogen, digestible phosphorus, exchanged potassium, digestible forms of calcium, magnesium, sulfur, sodium, iron, copper , zinc, manganese and boron.
The specialists of NIK Agro Service prepare a recommendation for respective crop nutrition with flat (ISO) or variable (VRA) rate. The recommendation is prepared for the needs of the target yield for each plot.
Preparation of a digital map for application of variable (VRA) rate, according to the agronomical recommendation for fertilization. The VRA card could be uploaded directly into the Trimble navigation display.
Personal profile with access to field information and satellite images. Contains an archive of data on the performed sampling, results of analyzes, agrochemical maps, digital files for VRA fertilization application.
AgroBalance subscription plan may include control soil and plant samples to determine whether the plants are fully nourished during growth. This information is useful for corrective action in feeding and identifying deficits.
AgroBalance by preferred fertilization technology
- Flat rate for the complete area, the sampling is according the Standard ISO 18400
- Variable rate (VRA) – this type of fertilization requires a higher resolution of the distribution of the soil nutrient’s level, so the field is divided into smaller cells and the number of the soil samples is higher.
AgroBalance by service period
- Four-year subscription service – that helps manage stock dynamics over the years, which contributes to lasting soil fertility. Full soil sampling is carried out in the first year of the subscription while in the follow-up years, only control sampling from selected cells of the agricultural blocks is carried out.
- One-year application service – the sampling approach is according the fertilization strategy.
